Catalans Dragons prop Jerome Guisset looks set to end his career with his home-town club after signing a new two-year contract.
Guisset, who joined the Dragons in time for their entry into engage Super League in 2006 after spells with Canberra Raiders, Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors, has committed himself to the club until the end of the 2010 season, when he will be 32.
The forward has played in 62 out of a possible 69 Super League matches for the Catalans and is the club’s first re-signing since the appointment of Kevin Walters as coach for next season.
"I am very proud to carry the Catalans shirt for two years more," he said. "The club has grown a lot since the beginning of the Super League adventure.
"Our team is more and more competitive and the structures improve constantly. We all get along very well in the group and we take a lot of pleasure to evolve together."
