Ferriol among three charged

French Test forward David Ferriol is one of three Super League players ordered to appear before the Rugby Football League’s disciplinary panel on Tuesday.

The Catalans Dragons prop has been charged with making a dangerous tackle during his side’s 34-6 defeat by Leeds Rhinos at Headingley Carnegie on Friday, a grade B offence which carries a ban of up to two matches.

Wigan Warriors second rower Phil Bailey has also been referred by the match review panel for an alleged dangerous throw during the Warriors’ 24-22 defeat at Hull FC.

Hull KR utility player Stanley Gene has been charged with making a high tackle in his side’s 29-28 home defeat by Warrington.
