Disabled Spectators Information

The RFL is committed to improving the match day experience for all our supporters. In order to have a better understanding of the experiences of our disabled supporters we would appreciate it if over the course of the 2012 season you would take the time to share your experiences attending a game as both a home and/or an away supporter.

In order to improve facilities and services across the sport and to learn from each other it is important for our clubs and the wider sport to be aware of both any difficulties you encounter as well as examples of good practice, facilities or services. Audio commentary for Rugby League

The RFL has purchased its own audio commentary system and will be working to offer the service at all our centrally organised matches. The system is fully portable and as such fans may sit anywhere they choose in the stadium, alongside their family, friends and other club supporters.

Please could you encourage any blind and visually impaired supporters to contact the RFL ticket office and book their receiver in advance for the required fixture. We need to be aware of the demand for the service so that we can hire additional equipment if required. We will provide everyone with detailed information on where to collect and return receivers and headphones in the pre-match information. Please note that a small fully refundable deposit will be required on receipt of the equipment.
