Reasons for Decision The DVD clearly shows there were other players involved in a disgraceful on field melee during this game. They were fortunate to have had the opportunity to take advantage of the early guilty plea system and received 1 match suspensions. This player admits throwing one punch which is not confirmed as having connected. He admits his guilt and has shown remorse. It is noted he has a previous matter in April, 2014 again for punching. Taking into account all the surrounding circumstances this tribunal feel that a 1 match suspension and £25 fine is the appropriate sanction.
