Summary of CM's submissions on the Charge / evidence The Match Review Panel carefully considered this incident. As you can see from the footage Peter Green takes the ball in and Mr Aldous makes a tackle. This tackle is aggressive in nature and Mr Green lashes out towards Mr Aldous. Mr Aldous then initially attempts to strike his opponent but misses. He then connects with two further punches to his opponent’s head area while his opponent is in a vulnerable position on the floor. This then leads to other players becoming involved in the situation. As a result of this incident the referee sends Mr Aldous and Mr Green to the sin bin.

Player indicates did not start the incident that led to the altercation. Indicating it was the opponent that threw the first blow whilst this player was getting back to his feet.
