York withstood a second-half comeback by Keighley to leapfrog them in the table with a tense 24-22 victory at the Huntington Stadium. The City Knights looked to have secured the points when tries from Chris Clough, Paul Hughes, Tom Haberecht and Tom Hodgson, in response to a touchdown by Gavin Duffy, gave them a 22-6 half-time lead. But York were restricted to a solitary penalty from Wayne McHugh in the second half and they were forced to hang on to the lead as Keighley hit back with two tries from former York winger Lee Mapals and one from Jermaine Wray. |
