Workington win low-scoring affair

Wigan\'s former Leigh forward Sam Hopkins scored on his debut for Workington, where he is playing on a dual registration, to help them to an 8-6 Kingstone Press Championship win at Barrow in coach Phil Veivers\' first match in charge.

Centre Ryan Shaw\'s 63rd-minute try, goaled by Ian Mort, brought the Raiders level.

However, Kayle Connor sealed Workington\'s second win of the season with a last-minute penalty.
