Applegarth boosts Batley
Mark Applegarth returns for Batley Bulldogs in Sunday's Kingstone Press Championship fixture against Swinton Lions.
Bulldogs coach John Kear said: "Swinton posed problems for Whitehaven last week in a very exciting game. They picked up a crucial three points and they'll be confident this week.
"Being bolstered by dual-registration players means they'll be even more confident, but we're a good team and we'll go there with plenty of belief."
Darren Hawkyard (broken hand) and Ian Watson (knee) are missing for Swinton, but Neil Holland returns and Warrington's Ben Harrison looks set to be included on a dual-registration deal.
Lions coach Gary Chambers said: "This match will be a good measure on where we are and what we need to work on.
"You can't go there thinking 'let's just get through this' - you've got to go there, stick to your guns and hopefully churn out a result because it's going to be tight at the bottom."
