Witt signs new Crusaders deal

Crusaders RL have agreed a new three-year contract with Australian playmaker Michael Witt.
The 27-year-old former Parramatta, Manly and New Zealand Warriors player is in his second season of Engage Super League after returning to the 13-man code from a spell in New Zealand rugby union.
“I am very happy to have signed a three-year extension and to have committed my future to the Crusaders,” he said.
“I can see the club is intent on building something special here and I have every confidence we can do that with the players and coaches we have and the direction we are moving in.”
Crusaders chief executive Rod Findlay said: “We’re very close to finalising our recruitment for next season and we see Michael very much as one of the faces of the Crusaders.”
