Castleford Tigers will face York City Knights on Sunday 9th January at the PROBIZ Coliseum, kick off 2pm.

The fixture has been arranged with the fans in mind as a replacement for the Boxing Day Challenge clash with Bradford Bulls which was cancelled due to the freezing conditions.

The City Knights are set to field a full strength side for this Sunday’s game whilst Tigers head coach Terry Matterson has promised a stronger squad than the one he named for Boxing Day which featured ten members of the first team squad including new signings Richard Mathers and Jacob Emmitt.

Admission at the turnstiles on Sunday will be £10 (adults) and £5 (juniors/concessions). Transfer to the PROBIZ Main Stand will be £3.

Terry will confirm his squad for this match on Thursday.

Sunday’s match will not affect the already scheduled under 20’s match against the City Knights at Huntington Stadium on Sunday 16th January.
