Tigers and Warriors remain undefeated in 9s

Castleford Tigers and Wigan Warriors are the only sides to remain undefeated after Round 2 of the Rugby League 9s with the teams sitting at the top of the East and West League tables respectively.
Bradford Bulls had a disappointing night when they hosted the Rugby League 9s at Grattan Stadium, Odsal, losing two of their three games. They managed a victory against Featherstone Rovers, who again finished the round winning two out of their three matches.
Hull FC played host to the second set of fixtures in the East region which surpassed all expectations with over 2,000 supporters heading to Brantingham Park.
Hull FC won two of their three matches, including a 22-12 victory against local rivals Hull Kingston Rovers, but lost to Leeds Rhinos. Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, who had beaten Leeds in the first round of fixtures at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium a week earlier, once again took the spoils against their West Yorkshire rivals in the second game.
The Rhinos and the Wildcats also won two matches each but the Rovers were unsuccessful in all three.
Following two wins and a draw for Warrington Wolves at home, they finished the evening with five points to add to the four that they gained last week at Workington.
Cumbria also came away with two wins and a draw with Warrington to keep them level on points with the Wolves. Widnes Vikings were victorious in one of their matches against Huddersfield who are yet to win a 9s match.
St Helens won two of their matches at the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham while Salford City Reds were successful in one of their three fixtures which was against the British Police.
Along with Huddersfield Giants, Halifax and the British Police are yet to win any of their 9s matches.
