Tag Rugby League Series continues in Bradford

The next event in the RFL’s 2011 Tag Rugby League Series takes place on July 2 at Queensbury ARLFC in Bradford.
The event is the third of eight tournaments which will be played throughout the summer.
Seven a-side teams can play in as many - or as few - tournaments as they like throughout the Series and will be awarded points based on their match results. Extra points are awarded for female participation.
Teams will compete for the 2011 Tag Rugby League Series title by accumulating points based on their finishing position in each tournament.
Tag Rugby League is suitable for anyone to play regardless of age, size and experience.
Tackles are made by pulling off a Velcro tag which is incorporated into specially-designed shorts which means that there is minimal contact in this Rugby League derivative.
Tag Rugby League is great for both experienced players and beginners and with festivals taking place over the summer at a number of Yorkshire venues there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.
The game is fast and fun with great emphasis on attack and involves many of the core skills used in Rugby League such as kicking, handling and evasion.
The registration Fee of £10 per player includes personal insurance, entry into the first tournament and a pair of Tag Shorts & Tags (To be worn at each tournament) it then costs £2 per player at each subsequent tournament.
There will be prizes for the winners and stand-out players at each individual tournament as well as special guest appearances from Rugby League celebrities throughout the series.
The remaining festivals are:
