Randall sticks with Quins
Harlequins RL hooker Chad Randall has signed a new two-year contract that will keep him in London until the end of 2013.
The 30-year-old Australian has been a virtual ever-present since joining the club from Manly Sea Eagles in 2006, although he has missed the last two matches with an ankle injury, and is delighted to extend his stay in the capital.
“I’m very happy,” he said. “I was never really going to leave. My wife and kids are pretty happy here, we love London and the club’s great.
“They’re definitely looking to bolster the squad for next year, which is good. It’s an exciting time.”
Harlequins coach Rob Powell said: “Chad’s been a key player and leader in the group for a number of years.
“He’s a very highly-regarded player within the competition and we’re happy to retain a player of his quality.”
