After physical opening encounters it was Queensbury stand-off Ethan Ryan who opened the scoring with a fine jinking run down the right hand side.

Oakbank v Bradford Academy

An early solo effort from Oakbank loose forward Kyle Akrigg gave the Keighley side the best possible start to the game. From this point on the first half was an evenly contested game before a short pass from Akrigg sent Luke Moorby over to make the half time score 10-0.

Following the break Bradford Academy stand-off Bradley Allsop gave his side hope with a quick fire brace of tries down the right hand side to pull the score back to 10-8.

However the comeback was short lived as Akrigg managed to spin out of a tackle and crash over; quickly followed by a Rooney touchdown gave Oakbank some breathing space.
