The Huddersfield Giants in the Community ‘Back to Rugby’ scheme continues to run every Friday from 11am – 12noon at the fantastic indoor venue The Zone on St Andrews Road.

The Back to Rugby programme provides a social opportunity for people of any age and ability to take part in rugby related skills, fitness circuits and touch rugby.

The sessions are delivered to suit the individual participant and include a thorough warm up and cool down. Costing £2.50 per session which includes a free hot drink in the café at The Zone, they provide a consistent opportunity to get active whatever the weather and meet new people.

Ex Huddersfield Giants favourite, Darren ‘Rocky’ Turner is leading the programme and is looking to expand this successful initiative:
“People are always looking for new ways to get active and keep fit, the sessions are a great way to do this and provide a rugby related focus whilst keeping all the emphasis on having fun.

It’s great to be able to sit down after the sessions and enjoy a hot drink with all the participants to build on the social aspect of the game.”

Supporters are advised that there is no need to book and they can just turn up on Friday ready to start at 11am.
