Catalan Dragons prop David Ferriol will miss three of his side’s last seven Engage Super League matches through suspension.

The France international has been handed a three-match ban and a £300 fine as a result of his dismissal in Saturday’s 34-28 win over Bradford Bulls at Odsal.

Ferriol was found guilty by the Rugby Football League’s disciplinary committee of a high tackle on Bradford second-rower James Donaldson and will start his suspension with Sunday’s home game against Leeds Rhinos.

Leeds scrum-half Rob Burrow will also miss that match after being given a one-game ban for a dangerous tackle on Wigan Warriors forward Ryan Hoffman during the Rhinos’ 26-24 defeat at the DW Stadium.

Crusaders RL second-rower Hep Cahill will sit out Saturday’s game against Hull KR after being given a one-match ban for a late tackle on Huddersfield Giants stand-off Kevin Brown during his side’s 40-12 defeat at The Shay.

Wigan prop Andy Coley has been ruled out of the champions’ rearranged home match against Castleford Tigers tomorrow.

He was handed a one-match ban and £300 fine after being found guilty of running in and punching during the Warriors’ win over Leeds.

Castleford’s Jake Emmitt and Warrington Wolves’ Michael Cooper both avoided suspension but were fined £500 for fighting during during the Wolves’ 48-18 victory at the PROBIZ Coliseum last Friday.
