Doncaster team up with TESCO

The Dons community team are pleased to have teamed up with the Tesco Charity Trust on their Chance for all Project.
The Dons community team have been delivering Tag Rugby League Sessions and Multi Skills classes to over 200 pupils attending local schools specialising in learning difficulties.
Dons Community Coach Adam Lloyd has been to Northridge School in the North of the Town whilst Martin Rowlands has attended both Pennine View and Stone Hill Schools.
Martin Rowlands adds “The children really enjoy the Tag Rugby it’s a new activity form them, which most of them have never been involved with before. This Project gives them the chance to be involved and hopefully it is something that can continue in the future”
The next step in the Project is for the Children to attend the Keepmoat Stadium when the Dons take on Keighley Cougars in May with a Tag Competition taking place at half time for the Schools to compete in.
Jamie from Northridge says “I have really enjoyed the coaches coming to my school I always watch Rugby on TV with my Dad but I have never played it before. I want to play Rugby all the time now and I get excited on a Friday because I know its Rugby Time”
The Dons Community Department are very thankful to Tesco Charity Trust for their donation that has made this project possible.
