Cas High dominate girls finals

Castleford High will dominate proceedings in this year’s girls Carnegie Champion Schools Finals.
After two days of action at Hindley ARLFC, Wigan, the West Yorkshire School will provide finalists for three of the four age groups as their year seven, eight and nine sides progressed to London.
More than 500 girls from schools all around the UK took to the field over the two days and after progressing through the round-robin format the wining sides will now get the chance to turn out at The Twickenham Stoop, home of Engage Super League side Harlequins RL.
Joining the Castleford High teams in the national finals on Friday 26 August will be St Peters (Manchester), Settle Middle, Hollingworth, Settle College and Deanery (Wigan).
