Briggs makes Quins move

Bradford Bulls stand-off Kyle Briggs has become Harlequins RL’s seventh loan acquisition of the season.
The 23-year-old, who was a member of Featherstone’s Championship table-topping side last year before signing for the Bulls, has joined the Londoners initially for a month, although the deal could be extended.
Briggs, who has made six appearances for Bradford this year, will make his Harlequins debut against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Saturday, renewing a half-back partnership with his former Doncaster team-mate Luke Gale.
Harlequins coach Rob Powell said: “We are excited to have Kyle on board. He is actually someone we have tried to sign before so it’s great we have got it through.
“It gives us a fresh injection and a good option in the halves.”
Harlequins have already signed Luke Ambler (Leeds Rhinos), Mike Burnett (Hull FC), Karl Pryce, Joe Mellor (both Wigan Warriors), Lee Mitchell and Chris Riley (both Warrington Wolves) on loan this year.
