The popular Bradford Touch Rugby League competition is back for 2011 at Bradford Salem Rugby club and new teams are currently being recruited.

A simple yet exciting game, Touch promotes the fundamental skills of running, handling and support play, whilst developing the basic principles of attack and defence without the fear of getting hurt.

The game really does involve minimal contact and is all about playing the game on the field and also the social atmosphere afterwards.

The league starts with a registration night on May 12 and then continues every Thursday night from 6.30pm.

It costs £20 per squad per week and features mixed teams meaning that all sides must have two females/males on the pitch at any one time.

Each squad consists of 10 players with six on the field at a time and rolling substitutions. All players must be 14+.
