French referee Thierry Alibert has been appointed as match referee for the PROBIZ World Club Challenge, Wigan Warriors v St George Illawarra Dragons at DW Stadium, Wigan, on Sunday (7.15).

Alibert, 30, has refereed in two Rugby League World Cups as well as the 2009 Four Nations and 2010 Alitalia Cup and is a full time member of the Engage Super League refereeing panel.

The touch-judges on Sunday will be Tony Martin and Tim Roby. Phil Bentham will be video referee.
