Hull KR coach Justin Morgan hopes to steady the rocking Robins with the addition of two new signings.

The Robins made a spectacular start to their first season in engage Super League with four wins from their first five matches, but have been easily beaten in their last two and on Saturday were knocked out of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.

Morgan has also lost players to injury, including his inspirational captain James Webster, who is having treatment for his ankle injury in a hyperbaric chamber in a bid to be fit for the Easter Monday derby with Hull FC.

The club recently released second rower Michael Smith, who has joined Barrow, and fellow forwards Iain Morrison and Mark O'Neill are sidelined with long-term injuries.

‚"I'm looking to bring in a couple of forwards and maybe an outside back,‚" Morgan told the Hull Daily Mail.

‚"I'd say I'm 75 per cent confident that we can get two new players into the club but I don't think we'll get anyone in before the weekend.‚"

Rovers received some good news on Monday with confirmation that Tommy Gallagher, Luke Dyer and Gareth Morton could all be fit for Friday's home game against Catalans Dragons.

All three were thought to have suffered broken jaws in the 38-10 defeat by Warrington at the Halliwell Jones Stadium but Morgan said the injuries are not as bad as first feared.

‚"Tommy Gallagher will see the dentist this week because he has a couple of loose teeth,‚" said Morgan.

‚"Luke Dyer required a few stitches and he has a very sore jaw.

‚"Gareth Morton has a sore jaw as well but none of them have suffered breaks.

‚"Jon Steel, however, suffered a broken nose and we'll see how he goes this week, but he did play on with the injury so we're hopeful he'll be available.‚"

Rovers expect to have Michael Vella, Chris Chester, Stanley Gene and Jon Goddard all available for the first competitive Humberside derby for 10 years.
