Rovers make Leeds game all-ticket
Hull Kingston Rovers' fast approaching home game against Leeds Rhinos on Saturday 10th March is set to be the biggest and most exciting match for home supporters yet, which is why the club has announced today that this will be a ticket-only match.
The fantastic home support Hull KR have received this season, along with a very large anticipated away support from Leeds Rhinos has ensured that this game, to kick off at 6pm will be all-ticket. It is therefore crucial for supporters to buy their tickets as early as possible to ensure entry to the stadium on matchday.
In addition to this announcement, the club can officially confirm that, for the remainder of the 2007 Super League season, the east will be a ticket-only stand. This will minimise the lengths of queues at the turnstiles for this very popular stand and allow swifter entry to the stadium.
Rovers' chief executive Paul Lakin explained: "We are actively encouraging any fan who would like to watch our home games this season from the East Stand to buy tickets in advance, as there will be no opportunity to pay through turnstiles for access into the East Stand".
"We are delighted with the level of support we are receiving each week and, with a high percentage of the capacity of the East Stand already sold to season ticket holders, we are confident that all the remaining tickets will be sold in advance for every forthcoming game.
"I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank all the fans for all their outstanding support."
Tickets can be bought from the official club shop at 550 Holderness Road between 9.30am - 5.30pm (Tel. 01482 374162) or at the temporary ticket office at Craven Park Stadium, Preston Road (Tel. 01482 374648) between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm.
