Gene set for 'second' Robins debut
The 32-year-old utility back, who scored 94 tries in 11 appearances during his first spell with Rovers from 1996-2000, rejoined the club from Bradford Bulls in the close season but sat out their opening three engage Super League matches with a knee injury.
‚"The fans are very keen to see Stanley back in action and so is Stanley,‚" said Rovers coach Justin Morgan.
The Robins will also welcome back loose forward Chris Chester, a former Wigan player who missed Sunday's 26-10 defeat by Harlequins RL with a groin injury.
However, they have fitness doubts over second rower Mark O'Neill (hamstring) and full-back Ben Cockayne (neck).
