engage Super League new boys Hull KR have signed little-known New Zealander Andreas Bauer on a one-year deal.

The 23-year-old utility back, who is a British passport holder and therefore exempt from the overseas quota, was a member of the development squad at New Zealand Warriors and played for Mount Albert Lions in the Bartercard Cup.

"I've seen the videos of Andreas and there's definitely something to work with, even though his skills are pretty raw," said Rovers coach Justin Morgan.
