Edmondson ready for Roosters debut
Former St Helens forward Mark Edmondson, one of three British players plying their trade in Australia's National Rugby League, will make his Sydney Roosters debut against Brisbane Broncos on Good Friday.
The 26-year-old prop gets his chance because of an injury crisis which has ruled out Great Britain international Adrian Morley and Kangaroo forward Craig Fitzgibbon.
Edmondson made 102 appearances for St Helens after joining them from rugby union in 1999 but joined the Roosters on a two-year contract last November.
