Hawks swoop for Duckworth
Kingstone Press Championship One club Hunslet Hawks have signed Leeds Rhinos threequarter James Duckworth, who has spent the 2014 season on loan to London Broncos.
The 20-year-old Duckworth, who has made just three First Utility Super League appearances for the Broncos, will move to the Hawks on loan for the rest of the season before returning to the Rhinos.
He becomes the promotion-chasing Hawks' second major signing in a week following the capture of his Leeds team-mate Luke Briscoe, also on loan to the end of this term.
Hunslet director of rugby Darren Williams said: "James is another key addition to bolster the ranks for the run-in and the play-off series.
"He has found first-team opportunities at London limited and has recently been appearing on dual registration for London Skolars."
