Rising front-row talent Dan Fleming has today become James Lowes' first new signing for next season, after putting pen to paper on a two-year deal with the club.

The 22-year-old Wales international will be a Bradford Bull until at least the end of 2016 and will arrive at the Provident Stadium following the close of the season.

Fleming – a former Bulls Scholarship player – was included in the Welsh 2013 World Cup squad and boasts experience in sport's first and second tiers.

Bulls general James Lowes believes the prop forward, who is to join from high-flying Castleford Tigers, will prove a success in the red, amber and black of Bradford.

“Dan is a talented young forward, with bags of potential, and we are delighted to have him on board,” said Lowes.

“I believe he can have a good future here at the Bulls, he certainly has all of the necessary attributes to go far.

“He has had experience as an international and in the Super League and Championship, which will prove very beneficial.”

Fleming has made 15 Super League appearances since debuting at the top level, with four of them coming this season.

And Lowes' Tigers opposite, Daryl Powell, expects the former Halifax and Batley man to enjoy a bright future.

Powell added: “I would like to wish Dan all the best in his future career.

“He has been a pleasure to work with and I am confident he will continue to mature into a quality prop in the future.

“His opportunities would have been limited next season and playing in the Championship whilst remaining full-time is perfect for Dan.”
