Further blow for Dureau
Catalan Dragons scrum-half Scott Dureau, who made just eight appearances in 2013 after overcoming surgery to remove a brain tumour, is facing a four-month lay-off with an arm injury.
The 27-year-old Australian sustained the injury during Sunday's 36-6 First Utility Super League defeat at Castleford Tigers, his first match of the season.
A statement from the Perpignan club said: "The Catalans scrum-half suffered a biceps tendon rupture and will undergo surgery in France tomorrow."
The Dragons, who have lost both their opening games, will also be without full-back or winger Damien Cardace for their first home game of the season against Leeds Rhinos on Friday night after he picked up an ankle injury against the Tigers.
