Rugby League mourns Terry Fogerty
The RFL has sent its condolences to the family of Terry Fogerty, the former Halifax, Wigan, Rochdale Hornets, Lancashire and Great Britain forward who died on Friday. He was 69.
“On behalf of the RFL, I would like to extend my condolences to Terry’s family at their sad loss,” said RFL Chief Executive Nigel Wood.
“Terry was a very talented player and a really popular character off the field who retained a strong feeling for the sport following his retirement.
“As a Great Britain international Terry gave terrific service to the game and I know that a great many people will have fond memories of watching him play.”
A funeral service will be held at Halifax Minster on Friday November 29 at 11.15am.
