Rovers talk up new directors
Hull KR say the appointment of three new directors will bring financial stability to the club.
Antony Langley joins the Robins as financial director after completing a detailed financial review, Linton Brown has been appointed as director of commercial affairs having enjoyed a similar role with Hull City and Malcolm Scott becomes development director.
They join chairman Neil Hudgell, vice-chairman Rob Crossland, chief executive Mike Smith and football director Phil Lowe on the board, with Colin Hutton remaining in his role of club president.
Hudgell, who recently re-confirmed his own commitment to the club after failing to attract major new backers, believes the appointments will ensure the club is in a position to move forward.
"Rob Crossland and I have made no secret of our desire to bring in new ideas and expertise to help take the club forward," he said. "The new directors have joined us to provide financial stability and open up new commercial and development opportunities."
