Do you think you could take up the challenge of becoming a Rugby League Match Official?

The next opportunity in your area is taking place at the DRAM Centre, Huddersfield on Wednesday September 4 and 11.

If you think you’ve got the knowledge of the sport and want to make a difference in the community game then apply now to secure your sport on this two evening course as places are limited.

The opportunities as a Rugby League Match Official are endless; once you’ve successfully completed your 13-a-side course you’ll be advised to join your local Referee Society.

They will allocate you matches, help you to acquire kit and invite you to training sessions and meetings to help you move up the ladder.

To book your place complete the application form and send it to at Community Games Services (address on the form) with payment.

TIME: 6-9pm
COST: £12.50 for ages (14-18) £25 (18+)

The course has been organised as part of the World Cup legacy events planned throughout the year and is heavily subsidised for people living within Kirklees Council boundaries (Cost: £5 for ages (14-18) £10 for Kirklees Voluntary Sector or £15 for other)
