Gloucestershire All Golds 28-35 London Skolars
All Golds can't continue winning run
Gloucestershire All Golds could not make it three wins in a row as they lost 35-28 to London Skolars at the Prince of Wales Stadium.
After wins over Oxford and South Wales, Brad Hepi's men were hoping to achieve a third victory in succession but were ultimately undone by the excellence of Dylan Skee, who scored a try and kicked five goals to achieve a match haul of 14 points.
James Anthony was on top form, scoring two tries for the Skolars, while Gareth Raynor, Oliver Purslow and Alex Hurst also crossed over for the away side. Mike Bishay put the icing on the cake by landing a last-minute drop goal.
Gloucestershire can take heart from a match in which they kept battling until the very end.
They were rewarded for a determined display as Steve Parry scored a brace of tries, while Mike Stewart, Nev Morrison and Pat Smith also touched down.
Tim Bergin landed four of his five conversion attempts but it was not to be the home side's day.
