All Golds secure back-to-back wins

Gloucestershire All Golds made it two wins from two in Kingstone Press Championship 1 as they recorded a 32-20 victory at South Wales Scorpions.

The visitors made an impressive start as they raced into a 16-0 lead after 14 minutes thanks to tries from James Greene, Maxime Claustres and Tyla Hepi, the latter two bettered by Phil Cowburn.

The Scorpions battled back and two tries in four minutes from James Greenwood and Dalton Grant, one of which was converted by Jack Murphy, saw them go into the break 16-10 down.

The All Golds strengthened their advance after the break as Chris Vitalini and Steve Parry crossed to extend their lead to 26-10.

Murphy then converted his own try and Greenwood crossed for a second as South Wales refused to give in but Cowburn crossed eight minutes from time to put the game to bed.
