Collis extends Wakefield stay
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have continued their player retention policy by tying down Australian centre Dean Collis to a new contract that will keep him at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium until the end of 2016.
The 27-year-old was coach Richard Agar's first signing for the Wildcats when he joined them from Cronulla ahead of the 2012 season and has been an ever-present so far this year.
"I'm really happy to get it out of the way," Collis said. "I always wanted to stay at the club.
"I'm settled here. It's a great group we've got here at the moment and I think over the next few years we can really build something exciting."
Collis joins forwards Andy Raleigh and Chris Annakin in signing new deals and Agar says the club are in talks with a number of other senior players.
