Green gains fresh contract
Hull FC forward Chris Green has penned a new three-year deal with the in-form Super League side.
The 21-year-old, who already had a year to run on his contract at the KC Stadium, will now remain with the club until 2016 at least.
It is another significant step for Green, who made his break into Peter Gentle's team last season before becoming a regular in 2013.
"I am really pleased to have been offered a new contract and it makes all the hard work worthwhile," Green said.
"I still know I have a number of areas that I need to work on to really lift my game, but I know I'm improving all the time and really benefiting from my time in the first team."
Green scored the winning try as Hull saw off Hull KR at last weekend's Magic event.
