Long Live Britain!
BBC1 will be hosting a big health event at the Magic Weekend on Saturday 25th May and they need your help!
Presenters Julia Bradbury and Phil Tufnell will be hosting Britain's largest ever health screening, finding and helping people who might now - or at some point in the future - be at risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes, Liver and Heart Disease.
Millions of people in the UK have no idea that they could be in danger of developing one of these conditions, which collectively kill more 200,000 people each year. But all three are preventable and, if caught early, even curable. Could you be one of them?
The BBC are aiming to screen 1,000 people for the warning signs and this is your chance to find out if you - or a family member - could be at risk and, if so, what simple steps you can take to get your health back on track.
Julia Bradbury will be overseeing proceedings, with Phil Tufnell and other celebrity guests. Julia said "We want to give back 1000 years of quality life to fans coming to the Magic Weekend. It's ambitious but with your help, we can do it!"
The programme will be broadcast later this year on BBC1 "Come and talk to one of our nurses - either before or after a game - at our pop up clinic in the Manchester National Squash Centre - next to the City Square Fan Zone at the Etihad Stadium"
