Turner extends Saints stay
St Helens have given centre Jordan Turner a new contract which will keep him at Langtree Park until the end of 2016.
The 23-year-old former Salford City Reds player, who joined Saints on a two-year deal from Hull FC in the winter, is one of only three ever-presents so far.
St Helens coach Nathan Brown said: "Jordan has done well since he came to Saints and is continuing to improve and adapt to how we play.
"He is versatile too and has impressed us with his attitude both on and off the field."
Saints have also given a new contract to 18-year-old centre or winger Mark Percival, who made his Super League debut against Leeds in March and has appeared in their last seven matches.
Percival, who is one of seven academy players to make their debuts this season, is contracted until the end of 2015.
"Mark is a young home-grown player who has come into the team and done well," Brown said.
"We're pleased with how well he has adapted to the first team and now he needs to continue to work hard and keep his feet on the ground."
