Knee injury sidelines Tickle
Hull FC have confirmed that goalkicking forward Danny Tickle will be out for at least two months with a knee injury.
The 30-year-old, who missed the first three matches of the season after recovering from a bicep injury, damaged his knee during Sunday's 28-8 win over Catalan Dragons.
"Having been in a brace this week and undergone medical assessments, it has been confirmed that he now faces at least two months on the sidelines," said a Hull spokesman.
The loss of Tickle leaves Hull without their first-choice back row, with skipper Gareth Ellis yet to play after damaging a foot on the eve of the opening game and Ben Galea sidelined with a dislocated thumb.
However, Ellis, the club's marquee close-season signing, could make his return within a month. He is now back in training after having the protective boot removed and is awaiting the results of a fresh scan.
