Three players suspended for verbally abusing match officials

Kingstone Press Championship players Paul March and Jamie Thackray were both suspended after appearing before the RFL Disciplinary Committee last night (Tuesday March 19).
Keighley Cougars player-coach Paul March was suspended for two games after he was found guilty of committing the Grade B offence of using foul and abusive language towards a match official during a Championship fixture against Featherstone Rovers on Thursday March 7.
Workington Town prop Jamie Thackray was also suspended for two games after he was found guilty of the Grade C offence of using foul and abusive language and aggressive body language towards a match official during a fixture against York City Knight on Sunday March 10.
Both players were also fined £50 by the Disciplinary Committee.
Hull KR Academy player Ryan Devaney was suspended for four games after he was found guilty of the Grade D offence of using foul and abusive language and questioning the integrity of a match official in an Academy fixture against Warrington Wolves on Saturday March 2.
