Sheffield Eagles 26-18 Featherstone Rovers

Eagles hit back for thrilling win
Defending champions Sheffield Eagles ended Featherstone's 100 per cent record in the Kingstone Press Championship with a gripping 26-18 victory at the Don Valley Stadium.
The Eagles trailed 18-16 with eight minutes to go but struck with late tries from Scott Turner and Menzie Yere to repeat their Grand Final triumph over Rovers and draw level with them at the top of the table.
Second rower Michael Knowles, man of the match in September's Grand Final, gave Sheffield an early lead but tries from Tom Hodson - a length-of-the-field interception - and Anthony England enabled Featherstone to lead 10-4.
The home side then regained the lead thanks to tries either side of half-time from centres Tom Armstrong and Yere, both goaled by Dominic Brambanai.
Scrum-half Liam Finn looked to have clinched it for Featherstone on 62 minutes with his side's third try, to which he added his third conversion to edge them back in front, until Sheffield came up with a storming finish.
