Hemingway leads the way

Tom Hemingway crossed for a try and added four goals as Batley Bulldogs returned to winning ways with a 24-18 Kingstone Press Championship win over Doncaster.

Batley were held to an 18-18 draw by Halifax last week but further tries from Miles Greenwood, John Davies and Jonny Campbell ensured they picked up maximum points.

Dennis Tuffour, Danny Cowling and Lee Waterman crossed for the Dons but Campbell's converted last-minute try denied them a draw.
