Leigh too strong for Cougars

Half-back Ryan Brierley grabbed a hat-trick in Leigh's 46-16 victory at Keighley which keeps the Centurions in touch with the early Kingstone Press Championship pacesetters.

Matt Gardner, Tommy Goulden, Carl Briscoe, Steve Maden and John Duffy got the Centurions' other tries and Martyn Ridyard added six goals and Robert Beswick one.

Wingers Richie Barnett (2) and Paul White scored the Cougars' touchdowns with Scott Leatherbarrow converting two of them.
