Workington Town 24-28 Sheffield Eagles

Eagles leave it late
Sheffield Eagles staged a second-half fightback to come from behind and beat Workington 28-24 in the Kingstone Press Championship.
A brace of tries from Mark Calderwood and further scores from James Coyle and Adam Walne, with Brett Carter converting all four, saw Town take a 24-10 half-time lead, Andrew Henderson and Nev Morrison crossing for the Eagles.
But it was a different story after the break as Sheffield took control and scores from James Davey, Dane Straugher and Mitch Stringer saw them claim victory.
Dominic Brambani kicked four goals for the Eagles.
