Halifax maintain unbeaten start

Halifax extended their 100 per cent start to the Kingstone Press Championship season with an 18-14 win over York City Knights.

Fax came from 14-0 down to beat the Knights in a game which all the points were scored before half-time.

Tries from Jack Briscoe, Dean Hadley and Tom Carr put York ahead but the visitors responded with converted scores from Dane Manning, Paul Handforth and Adam Robinson.

Steve Tyrer's three successful kicks, compared to only one from York's Simon Brown, proved decisive.
