David Price gets inspiration from the Wolves

Warrington Wolves welcomed British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion David Price to their training ground yesterday (Monday 18th February) ahead of Super League round 4 and David's contest this weekend.
Price watched from the sidelines speaking to a number of players as the Wolves build another relationship from within the world of sport helping to spread the word of Rugby League. Both the Wolves and Price will be in action this Saturday 23rd February aiming to be at the top of their game.
Both Rugby League and boxing require strength and physical fitness but Price, who is new to our sport, was impressed with what he saw out on the training field.
"I've recently started taking an interest in Rugby League because I've watched a couple of games and I thought what a great, tough, athletic type of sport this is. I've got a lot of respect for what the lads do on the pitch and have started watching it a lot more lately.
"Warrington's only up the road from Liverpool. I enjoyed the visit, watching what they were doing and it looked hard enough in training. Hopefully I'll get to come down and watch them play some time soon."
Warrington Wolves will travel to the KC Stadium this Saturday evening to take on Hull FC at 5.45pm.
Match tickets are available in WolfWare, at WolfWare Online and on 08448 11 11 76 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm)
David Price will box world class American Tony Thompson at Echo Arena on Saturday in a 12 round international heavyweight contest. The two-time world title challenger represents the biggest professional test so far for the emerging British star. Price, 29, is now ranked 9th in world by the WBC and rapidly closing in on the heavyweight divisions big guns, Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko.
