Leigh hammer sorry Hawks

Leigh thrashed Hunslet 40-0 in the Kingstone Press Championship as the Centurions ran in seven tries.

Sean Penkywicz, Martyn Ridyard, Matt Gardner, Michael Ostick and Ryan Brierley all crossed over with Sam Hopkins grabbing a brace.

Ridyard also kicked six goals as Leigh powered to 22-0 lead at half-time before they continued to inflict more punishment after the break to record their first win of the season.
