Truce for Wheelchair rivals

Any World Cup rivalries were postponed at the weekend as the England Wheelchair Rugby League squad trained at Morley Leisure Centre, Leeds.
They were joined by members of the Scotland Wheelchair Rugby League team as both sides continued their preparation. All the players were put through their paces during a variety of drills on handling and pushing lines, before playing short-sided games.
England's Head Coach Phil Roberts said, "There will obviously be sessions covering aspects of game play where we wouldn't want any guests in attendance but on a skills session, their presence is welcome.
"If anything they pick up at one of our sessions is going to help their team and make for a more competitive World Cup, then we're all for it. Their was some good camaraderie between the players yesterday but I'm sure it will be all business when we meet in July!"
