Rovers appoint new director

Featherstone Rovers have announced that Ken Jones is joining the Club in the capacity of Associate Director.

Featherstone Rovers are pleased to announce that Ken Jones is joining the Club in the capacity of Associate Director.


Ken will bring a wealth of expertise and experience to the benefit of the Club having previously been a Managing Director for Marconi, and held Senior Positions for the likes of T Mobile and O2. As a consultant Ken has helped organisations such as the BBC, Chesterfield Borough Council and others, maximise their revenues, and bring commercial governance and cost efficiency to the benefit of their stakeholders.


Ken brings to the benefit of Featherstone a wide range of skills from Business Transformation, Commerciality, Strategic planning and Sales and Marketing.


Featherstone Rovers Chief Executive Craig Poskitt said "I'm delighted that Ken has offered his services to help our off the pitch development and help us achieve our aspirations of returning to top flight rugby league. Ken brings a wealth of experience and complements our existing team very well. He brings passion, enthusiasm and dedication which are qualities mirrored by those already at the club. Ken has worked for some leading brands and holds a very strong CV.
