Sheriffe joins Halifax

Halifax RLFC have signed former Super League player Rikki Sheriffe. Rikki is part of a rugby family along with his brothers Jode and Jessjo, both of whom also played for Halifax but who are now at Keighley.
Winger Sheriffe, 28, joins Halifax after a spell in Rugby Union with Newcastle Falcons and previous to that he was playing in Super League at Bradford Bulls and Harlequins.
Ian Croad, Halifax's Football Director said " Rikki is a proven rugby winger and we are delighted that he's chosen to join Fax again. He will give more options in our back line and he brings lots of Super League Experience with him."
Sheriffe said " Halifax is one of those Clubs at which players are happy, and one they don't really want to leave, so it's great that I'm able to come back. I'm looking forward to working with Karl Harrison and to be part of what looks to be a really strong team in 2013
